Use an AI prompt when you want new content from a recurring brief, rather than updates from a feed. For example, a home repair business could prepare one weekly maintenance tip with a simple example and a practical action. The prompt can stay the same while each scheduled occurrence creates another variation.
Open the Auto Post dashboard and choose AI prompt. Sign in and select the workspace that owns the destinations you want to use.
Set up your first campaign
- Choose social or blog destinations and the AI Prompt source.
- Write a brief that states the audience, useful idea, tone, language and desired action. Supply any facts the post must use. Avoid asking the model to invent prices, statistics, customer stories or results.
- Choose the available content and media settings. If you select AI images, review their separate usage requirements; text access does not make every media feature free.
- Preview the first post. Check that someone unfamiliar with your business could understand the point, example and next step. Edit the brief if the result is too vague or repetitive.
- Select connected channels or blog destinations. Review publishing presets, approvals and the recurring schedule, including its start time, time zone and end date.
- Review and save the workflow. Check the workflow list and channel delivery results after its first scheduled run.
A useful example brief
“Write one short weekly home maintenance tip for first-time homeowners. Explain one small task, why it matters, a realistic example and what to do today. Use plain English. Do not invent technical specifications or claim a result is guaranteed. End with a gentle invitation to ask us a question.”
Add your actual service area, verified offers and brand preferences if they matter. A clear brief is more useful than a long list of unexplained marketing terms.
Timing and resource use
An unchanged prompt still generates a new variation on its next scheduled occurrence. This source is not a “publish only when something changes” monitor. A daily schedule can therefore create daily AI work even if you never edit the brief. Choose the frequency you need and pause the campaign when it has finished its purpose.
Preparation for the same saved occurrence is reused across its destinations and retries. AI text, AI media and destination publishing still follow their normal access and allowance rules. Preview generation is separate work; avoid repeatedly generating previews when a small edit to the brief is enough.
If the result does not match your intent
Make the brief more concrete, reduce the number of ideas per post and review the selected destinations. If saving or publishing is blocked by access, use the dashboard's billing guidance. Source, media and provider errors need their own correction; an upgrade does not solve every error. Check history before retrying an uncertain delivery.
