Does the automation stop after seven days?

No. The campaign guide is an ongoing system. Its optional seven-day example is a reusable template. An active reply continues until paused, subject to its schedule, account connection, permissions, and platform rules.

Are keywords case-sensitive?

No. POSTLY GUIDE, Postly Guide, and postly guide match the same phrase. The selected matching mode still matters: containing a phrase differs from requiring an exact message.

Does ongoing mean repeated messages to everyone?

No. A keyword reply responds to a matching incoming request. It is not a recurring outbound campaign. Keep a person available for questions after the resource is delivered.

What does the campaign-guide reply send?

The live ongoing campaign guide contains a brief, content rotation, worked example, and review checklist. No signup is needed to read it. Publish and open any replacement resource before changing the reply.

Are connected accounts automatically enabled for CRM?

No. Connect accounts in Platform connections, then deliberately select and save them in CRM channels. See channel selection and limits.

Why is a future expiry date not enough?

A provider can invalidate a session before its displayed expiry date. Verify the account and read the provider error. Reconnect the correct account, then test delivery again.

What if reconnection shows a different Instagram account?

Cancel the authorization. Sign into the intended Instagram account, return to Platform connections, and restart the normal reconnect flow.

Why does Active not guarantee delivery?

Active means the rule is enabled. Check the selected account, trigger, schedule, messaging permissions, and Automation activity. Provider eligibility still applies. Test from a separate personal account and verify the received message.

Does a DM test also test comment replies?

No. DMs and comments use separate rules. Test each path independently and check private and public replies separately.

Does this editor configure Facebook conversation starters?

The current Postly conversation-starter editor saves questions to Instagram and links them to active DM automations. It does not configure Facebook Messenger starters. Facebook keyword replies work independently.

For a Facebook starter, use the Page's Frequently asked questions settings in Meta Business Suite. A suggested question containing your Postly keyword can start the request. Leave Meta's native answer empty if Postly should handle it, and test the complete flow. See the setup walkthrough.

How do I change or stop a reply?

Use the rule menu to edit it, or Pause to stop it. Keep the resource URL stable when updating a guide. Test again after changing the response.
