Email marketing

A newsletter experience inside your publishing workspace.

Create campaigns, manage a permission-based audience, and follow delivery. Connect your existing email provider on Pro, or add managed Postly sending powered by Amazon SES.

For creators, agencies, and teams that want email and social campaigns to work together without managing disconnected publishing tools.

A workflow with a clear purpose

Dedicated campaign authoring, explicit audience review, and sending controls that protect subscribers and sender reputation.

Step 1

Choose how to send

Bring your provider on Pro, or choose the Postly Email sending add-on. Existing purchased Email access is preserved.

Step 2

Prepare your audience and sender

For managed sending, import subscribers who agreed to receive your emails, set your business details, and verify your sending domain.

Step 3

Build and review

Write the subject and preview text, format your newsletter, and review content and the subscribed audience before scheduling.

Step 4

Send and follow delivery

Track provider acceptance and supported delivery events. Review alerts, suppressions, and sending allowance before your next campaign.

The tools behind the work

A dedicated newsletter editor

Keep campaign details, audience, content, and final review separate. Save drafts and reusable newsletter templates.

Audience import with safeguards

Import subscriber CSV files with email and first-name fields. Invalid addresses are excluded; existing opt-outs do not get re-subscribed by another import.

Your own verified sender

Use your business identity and reply-to address. Managed sending requires domain verification and business postal details.

Unsubscribe and suppression handling

Managed campaigns include an unsubscribe link and one-click unsubscribe headers. Subscriber status is checked again before dispatch.

Delivery records and alerts

Distinguish provider acceptance from delivery. Incomplete delivery confirmation stops automatic retries to reduce duplicate-send risk.

Capacity you can understand

Choose a band for your active subscribers, with unlimited email sends. Every band includes the same managed features and sending-speed eligibility; approved provider capacity and sender health still govern speed.

Connections and compatibility

  • Postly sending · Amazon SES
  • Mailchimp
  • Kit
  • Brevo
  • beehiiv
  • ActiveCampaign

Managed sending requires completed SES operational setup and sender verification. Provider-connected campaigns use that provider’s audience, limits, and supported reports. Delivery is not a guarantee of inbox placement; open tracking is approximate.

Review integrations and account requirements

Move your audience without losing its history

Use CSV exports from Mailchimp, beehiiv, Kit, Brevo, ActiveCampaign, or another platform. Review field mapping, names, tags, lists, custom fields, and subscription status. Import unsubscribed, cleaned, and complained records as exclusions, alongside active subscribers. File migration does not transfer a provider’s paid subscription, automation logic, or historical tracking events.

Understand speed and performance

Sending allowance is monthly volume, not a promise of instant delivery. Processing speed depends on approved provider quotas, sender readiness, and recipient servers. Campaign reports distinguish accepted messages from delivery and failures. Opens are approximate and can be affected by privacy features.

Before you get started

What is the difference between subscribers and sends?

Subscribers are people on your list. Sending four newsletters to 10,000 subscribers produces 40,000 sends. New Postly Email plans charge for active subscribers and include unlimited sends.

Which contacts count toward my subscriber band?

Unique subscribed email addresses across workspaces you own. Duplicates count once; unsubscribed, bounced and complained contacts do not count.

Do I pay Postly per email with my own provider?

No. Connected-provider access requires Pro, and your provider bills its own sending costs. Existing purchased Email rights are preserved.

What happens above 500,000 subscribers?

Contact us for Custom pricing and a sending-capacity review. There are no automatic overage charges.

Does unlimited sends mean instant delivery?

No. It removes the monthly send allowance. Approved provider quotas, shared available capacity, sender health and receiving mail servers still govern sending speed. Every subscriber band has the same sending-speed eligibility.
