Recurring Post — Automate Your Consistency

Keep your audience engaged without lifting a finger. Set your posts to repeat automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

Overview

Recurring Post helps you automate content publishing at fixed intervals—perfect for evergreen content, reminders, or ongoing announcements.

This feature now appears as a dedicated tab under your dashboard:
Dashboard → Publishing → Recurring Post

You can view, edit, or stop any active recurring schedule directly from this tab.

How It Works

  1. Open the Recurring Post tab
From your dashboard, go to Publishing → Recurring Post.
Here you’ll find all existing recurring campaigns and the option to create a new one.

  2. Create or select a post

    • Click New Recurring Post to start from scratch, or
    • Select an existing post to convert it into a recurring one.
  3. Add your post details
Write your caption, attach media, and choose your target platforms.

  4. Set the recurrence frequency
In the Schedule Settings, toggle Recurring On and select:

    • Daily — repeat every day at the same time
    • Weekly — repeat on the same day each week
    • Monthly — repeat on the same date each month

You can also set an end date or a number of repetitions.

  5. Confirm and schedule
Review your setup and click Schedule Recurring Post.
Postly will automatically queue and publish each cycle.

Managing Recurring Posts

In the Recurring Post tab, you can:

  • View all active and completed recurring schedules
  • Pause, resume, or stop any recurring post
  • Edit frequency or content (applies to future cycles only)
  • Track status: Scheduled, Published, or Failed

Best Practices

  • Use for evergreen or rotational campaigns like quotes, weekly tips, or reminders.
  • Keep media URLs consistent—Postly Cloud is recommended.
  • Avoid date-specific captions unless manually adjusted between cycles.
  • Check results in Analytics → Publishing History.

Example Use Cases

  • Daily motivational posts
  • Weekly “Product Spotlight”
  • Monthly newsletter announcement
