Visual planners live beside the publishing calendar. Use them to compare upcoming content for a connected Instagram account, TikTok account or Pinterest board without expanding the main publishing editor.
Arrange images inside a post
Drag a numbered image or open its move menu in the editor, preview grid or expanded grid. Grid is the default overview; List and Carousel are alternative review layouts. Reordering editable media updates publishing order. Changing the view does not change the order.
Shared media continue to follow the editor. An explicit order in an account preview belongs to that account. Review each destination before publishing, particularly when it uses different media or placement settings.
Fix one image or the batch
Use the Fix action on an affected image or choose Fix all to process eligible images together. Review the listed repairs. Postly retains originals and revalidates the publishing versions. Remaining warnings need manual editing, replacement or a different publishing setting; Fix all does not guarantee every source can be repaired.
Plan a profile or board
Select a platform and connected account or board. Review upcoming scheduled posts, available published content and drafts. Drag scheduled posts to exchange their publishing times. The latest scheduled time appears first. After a move, an Unsaved schedule changes panel appears beside the cards. Choose Review schedule changes, compare old and new times, then confirm Apply schedule changes to save the sequence for this account. Undo arrangement discards the proposal. Opening the planner or moving a proposal does not publish anything. Draft arrangements are temporary comparisons and reset on refresh or account change.
Choose a 3×3, 3×4 or 4×4 canvas. Dimensions are columns × rows: 9, 12 or 16 slots. The 3×4 option adds a fourth row below the first three; scroll to see it. These are Postly layouts, not provider API settings for native profile columns. Instagram pins and crops may differ; TikTok’s read API returns public videos and may omit photo posts; Pinterest controls its live board layout.
Split a design into posts
Open Split an image from the planner and expand How image splitting works. This turns one design into separate tiles, not an automatically published mosaic. Choose a JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 24 MB and 24 megapixels, choose rows and columns, and preview the crop or white padding. Exports are JPEG tiles. Download a ZIP with numbered files, or create separate unscheduled drafts for the selected destination. Review and schedule those drafts through the normal publishing flow.
Use bottom-right-first numbering for a chronological profile mosaic, or left-to-right numbering for carousel slides. A four-column export does not align automatically with a three-column profile. Keep each image meaningful on its own.
