Overview

We have done the grunt work of ensuring your social accounts remain connected for much longer.

Note: Postly uses only the official APIs provided by each social platform for all publishing and data access. This guarantees secure, reliable, and compliant connections.

Steps

Go to the Social Accounts section
In the sidebar, click on Social Accounts to access available platforms.
Select your social media platform
Choose from supported platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and more.
Authorize the connection
Follow the authentication flow. You'll be redirected to securely log in and approve access to your account.

Multiple Account Connection

Connecting multiple accounts can sometimes be tricky due to browser sessions. To ensure a smooth process:

Platform Connections

Postly supports a wide range of platforms for seamless publishing and management. Click any platform below to learn more about connecting it:

All connected platforms remain active indefinitely as long as at least one post is published every 6 weeks.

Key Information

Password changes or logouts require reconnection.
Scheduled posts remain unaffected by reconnections.
Grant full admin permissions to avoid issues.

Supported Account Types

Facebook & Instagram: Supports Business Pages and Creator Accounts only. Personal profiles cannot be connected.
LinkedIn: Supports personal profiles and company pages.
TikTok: Supports personal and business accounts.

Troubleshooting Tips

Clear your browser cache and cookies before connecting accounts.
Ensure pop-ups are allowed during the authentication process.
If connection fails, try using an incognito/private browser window.
Verify your account has the necessary permissions (e.g., admin access on Facebook Pages).
For multi-factor authentication, have your device ready to approve sign-ins.

Security & Privacy

Your account credentials are never stored by Postly. We use secure OAuth authentication to connect your social accounts, ensuring your login details remain confidential. Permissions are limited strictly to what is required for publishing and analytics.

Auto-Reconnect & Notifications

Postly automatically detects if a connection token has expired and will prompt you to reconnect. To avoid interruptions, you will receive timely notifications within the app and via email when action is needed.

Google Business Profile (GBP) Locations

Store addresses clarify locations with similar names, per Google's naming policy:
