Do invited team members need to create a Postly account?

Yes. Invited team members need to sign up for Postly first, create their own organization and workspace, and then accept the workspace invitation.

What happens when a team member joins an invited workspace?

When they switch to the invited workspace, they are working inside the inviter’s workspace using the permissions assigned to them by the workspace owner.

Does the invited team member need to upgrade their own account?

No. Team members can remain on the Starter plan while working inside the inviter’s premium workspace. Premium workspace features are controlled by the workspace owner’s subscription.

Can users switch between their own workspace and invited workspaces?

Yes. Users can switch between their personal workspace and any invited workspaces directly from the workspace switcher.

Do I need to set up an organization even if I do not really need one?

Yes. Organization is required as a simple label used to organize workspaces inside Postly.

Does the organization need to be a formal company or business?

No. The organization does not need to be a formal business entity. You can use any simple label or name that helps organize your workspaces.

What is an organization used for?
