Overview
When you produce at scale, a light template + naming system keeps everything consistent and searchable.
Use CSVs or Google Sheets to batch optional titles, descriptions, links, and required board and media targets; pair with design templates.
Steps
- Create naming rules for files: pillar_topic_variant_YYYYMM.
- Build 3–5 design templates per pillar (image and video).
- Prepare a CSV or Google Sheet with required board and image/video data, then add optional title, description, destination URL, and timing.
- Bulk upload in Postly; validate and schedule in one pass.
Best Practices
- Keep a central glossary of keywords and approved phrases.
- Rotate 2–3 covers for top topics; archive underperformers.
- Automate UTM injection to preserve attribution.
FAQs
Can I mix boards in one CSV?
Yes—include a boards column with comma-separated board names for each row.
Is a Pinterest destination URL required?
No. It is optional. If the field is blank, Postly uses the first non-media link in the post text when available.
