Connect OpenAI dots to your Postly workspace.

Use your Postly API access to connect OpenAI dots through MCP for workspace discovery, media, scheduling, and analytics. Custom connections have passed workspace, channel, and media upload tests. Package review is separate from manual setup.

Connect with your Postly API key

  1. Open Integrations & API in Postly and create a key with the permissions and workspace access you need.
  2. Add a custom MCP connection in OpenAI dots, using Streamable HTTP and this server URL: https://mcp.postly.ai/dots
  3. Choose OAuth when offered. Enter your key only on the Postly authorization page. Clients that support API-key headers can instead use Authorization: Bearer <your-api-key>.
  4. Start a new session, enable Postly, and ask for your workspaces and connected channels.

Requires eligible Postly API access. The key’s permissions and workspace limits apply. Manual setup is separate from marketplace approval; client account and plan requirements also apply.

Open Postly

Start with a small test

  • List my Postly workspaces and connected channels.
  • Upload this image to my Postly Media Library without publishing it.
  • Show publishing status for my selected workspace.

Review the workspace, destinations, content, and time before approving publishing or scheduling. Post creation can queue delivery; it is not a local draft-only test. You can revoke the API key in Postly to stop access.
