Product campaign checklist: current facts, variants and rotation

Review ecommerce product campaigns for accurate prices, available variants, useful landing pages and a sustainable publishing rotation.

Before you start

Use an authorized catalog or public URL source. Collect the product pool, destination channels, campaign purpose and person responsible for checking changes.

Prepare and review the release

  1. Select products or collections that match the campaign. Exclude items whose availability, imagery or destination page makes them unsuitable to promote.
  2. Keep product facts separate from creative copy. AI may propose an angle, but price, dimensions, shipping promises and stock claims must match the current source.
  3. Set priorities and cooldowns for the rotation. A larger weight expresses promotional importance; it does not make an unavailable product safe to advertise.
  4. Review the generated post and its exact variant link. Monitor subsequent runs for changed prices, unavailable items and repetition that no longer serves the audience.

Worked example

A shop promotes a desk lamp in two finishes. The campaign uses the walnut variant's image and destination, while the copy describes its verified dimensions. It avoids saying 'last chance' or 'only two left' unless the current source actually supports that claim.

If something goes wrong

  • Price differs on the landing page: inspect the selected variant, currency and freshness of the source.
  • Same item appears too often: review the eligible pool, promotion weight and cooldown settings.
  • Source no longer loads: pause affected promotion until a usable authorized source is restored.
