Platform-Specific Troubleshooting

Follow these steps for each platform to fix integration issues and restore Postly's functionality.

Facebook

Facebook integration issues often stem from API errors, expired tokens, or incorrect Page settings. You may see errors like "API rate limit exceeded" or "Connection failed".

  1. Log in to Facebook and go to your Page's Settings > Roles to confirm Admin or Editor access.
  2. Check Postly's permissions in Business Integrations (Settings > Accounts > Apps and Websites).
  3. Clear your browser cache (Settings > Privacy > Clear Browsing Data).
  4. Reconnect the account in Postly's dashboard under Settings > Social Accounts.
  5. If issues persist, revoke Postly's access in Facebook and reconnect, ensuring all permission checkboxes are selected.

Instagram

Instagram integration issues may occur due to Meta API restrictions, Professional Account misconfigurations, or rate limits. Errors like 'Invalid scope' may appear.

  1. Ensure your Instagram account is a Professional Account (Settings > Account Type).
  2. Verify the linked Facebook Page has Admin access (Settings > Linked Accounts).
