Delete your Postly account

Request deletion

1. Sign in to your Postly account.
2. Open Account Settings, then My account.
3. Select Delete account and complete the identity confirmation.

If you cannot sign in, email support@postly.ai from your registered email address and request deletion of your Postly account and associated data. We may ask you to verify ownership. Do not email your password.

Delete data without deleting your account

You can delete individual posts, cloud media and saved AI conversations using their in-app deletion controls. Workspace permissions may limit which shared content you can delete.

To request deletion of other specific data while keeping your account, email support@postly.ai from your registered email address. Identify the data and workspace involved; do not include your password. We may verify ownership before acting. The retention exceptions below also apply to these requests, and content already published to external services must be managed there.

What account deletion removes

Deletion removes your Postly account and its sign-in access, owned workspaces and organizations, associated publishing records and cloud media, memberships, connected-service tokens, API keys, and notifications. Active subscriptions are cancelled as part of the deletion process. Deleting an owned workspace also affects members who use it.

This action cannot be undone. Content already published to social networks and other third-party services is not removed by deleting Postly. Use those services to manage or delete that content. Separate accounts in other products have their own deletion controls.

Retention and exceptions

Our general privacy policy provides for disposal of account data within 60 days after deletion, subject to its stated exceptions.

To prevent repeated free trials, a limited trial-eligibility record is retained indefinitely: a hash of your normalized email address, the product, the original account identifier, and the first-claim date. It cannot restore your deleted account and is not treated as anonymous information.

Third-party services, including payment processors, handle their own records under their policies. Contact support if you need information about retained data or want to exercise your data protection rights.
