1.Install and sign in
Install the Postly extension from its Chrome Web Store listing and sign in to Postly. Choose the workspace where you want to create content.
2.Choose your capture method
Highlight a short passage and choose Create with Postly from the right-click menu. Alternatively, open the toolbar popup and edit its page-title text into your own note.
3.Review in Postly
The extension opens a new Postly tab. Check the captured text and source address. Query strings and fragments are removed from the address. Continue within five minutes; if the capture expires, send a fresh one.
4.Open the editor
Choose Open in editor. Add your original perspective, check any quotation and attribution, and select the channels you want to use. Add media through the normal editor if needed.
5.Save or schedule deliberately
Use the editor’s controls to save a draft or choose a publishing time. The extension does not publish automatically or bypass workspace access and subscription checks.
Check the result
- You are using a normal HTTP or HTTPS webpage.
- You have permission to reuse the selected material.
- The text and source are correct before you continue.
- You chose the intended workspace and destinations in Postly.
