Connect X to Postly
Create an X developer app, configure authentication, and connect your official X API credentials securely for publishing.
Setup Guide
X API no longer supports free API keys for this setup. Your X developer account must be on the Pay Per Use tier before connecting to Postly. Keep your Consumer Key, Secret Key, Bearer Token, Client ID, and Client Secret private.
Create a new X app
Open the X Developer Console, go to Projects & Apps, then create a new client application.
Open X Developer ConsoleCopy your generated credentials
After creating the app, copy the credentials shown by X and save them securely. Then select your new X app and open the keys and tokens area where your Bearer Token, OAuth 1.0 keys, and OAuth 2.0 keys are shown.
Set up user authentication
Click "Set up" under User authentication settings, then configure your app permissions, app type, callback URL, and website information.
Update existing authentication settings
If authentication has already been configured, click the "Edit Settings" link instead of "Set up", then review and update the same permissions, app type, callback URL, and website information.
Connect and finish in Postly
Return to Postly, open Social Accounts, choose Connect X, paste your X API credentials, then save and continue. You can also connect multiple X accounts on Postly.
