For a link, include https://. This tool does not check whether the destination is safe or available.

Your QR code

Enter a destination to create a static code.

How to use the qr code generator

  1. 1

Enter the complete website URL or a short piece of text you want to encode.

  2. 2

Choose a download size and generate the QR code.

  3. 3

Download PNG or SVG and test the code with your phone before printing or sharing.

Use a stable destination

A static QR code contains the exact value you enter. If you encode a website URL, keep that address available for as long as the material will be used. A redirect you control can help when the destination might change later.

Give the code room to scan

Keep the white margin around the code and avoid stretching it. Test at the actual print size and viewing distance. The black-on-white design is chosen for contrast rather than decorative effects that could make scanning harder.

Measure the visit at the destination

This tool does not track scans. If you need campaign attribution, create a tagged link with the UTM builder before generating the code. Analytics depend on your destination’s setup and the visitor’s consent choices.

Frequently asked questions

Does the QR code expire?

The code itself does not expire. A linked website can still change, move, or become unavailable.

Can I edit the destination after downloading?

No. This is a static code. Generate a new code or use a destination URL whose redirect you control.

Does Postly track scans?

No. This tool generates the image locally and provides no scan analytics.

Which export should I use for print?

SVG scales cleanly for print layouts. Test the exported design at its final size before producing a large batch.
