Approximate preview. Native layouts, link cards, and truncation vary by device and post type. Nothing is published.

How to use the social media post preview

  1. 1

Paste your caption and optionally upload a local image. Add a display name to personalize the preview.

  2. 2

Choose a platform and switch between mobile and desktop widths. Expand or collapse the text to review the opening.

  3. 3

Edit line breaks, check the length, and copy or download the text when you are ready to publish.

Check the first impression

A feed preview helps you see whether the opening explains the subject, whether paragraphs are readable, and whether the image supports the caption. Read the collapsed version before expanding the rest of the post.

Compare mobile and desktop

The same sentence wraps differently on narrow and wide screens. Switch widths and check long links, hashtags, and paragraph spacing. Make the opening understandable even when only a few lines are visible.

Treat the preview as a rehearsal

Social apps change their layouts, fonts, and truncation rules. This is an approximate visual preview, not an official rendering. It does not retrieve link cards, tag accounts, or publish anything. Check the native composer for final placement-specific behavior.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to connect an account?

No. The preview uses the text and local image you provide, so no social login or account permissions are required.

Is the preview pixel-perfect?

No. It approximates a feed card at two widths. Actual line wrapping and truncation depend on the device, app version, post type, and account.

Can I preview a link card?

Links appear as text. The tool does not fetch a page title, thumbnail, or social link card.

Is my draft saved?

Edits stay in the current page. If you send a generated caption here, it is transferred through temporary browser session storage and removed after loading. Download or copy your work before leaving.
