How to use the social media image resizer
1
Upload a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image. Your image is processed in this browser and is not uploaded to a server.
2
Select an output format, choose crop or fit, and adjust the horizontal and vertical framing.
3
Download the selected size or export all presets as a ZIP. Choose PNG for crisp graphics or JPEG for photos.
Choose a shape for the placement
Square works for a balanced feed layout, portrait gives a vertical composition more room, story fills a tall canvas, and landscape suits wide artwork. These are practical export presets, not a guarantee of acceptance in every social placement.
Crop or keep the entire image
Crop fills the canvas and removes the edges that do not fit. Move the framing controls to keep your subject visible. Fit preserves the entire image and adds your chosen background color in the remaining space.
Keep the original sharp
Enlarging a small source image can make it look soft. This tool resizes pixels; it does not use AI to invent detail. Start with the largest original available and preview small text before downloading.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing, previews, and downloads happen in your browser. The tool does not send the image to Postly or an AI provider.
Which image formats are supported?
You can open JPEG, PNG, and WebP files up to 15 MB and 40 megapixels. Export PNG or JPEG. Animated files, SVG, and HEIC are not supported.
Can I download multiple sizes?
Yes. Download all four presets as a ZIP. The selected crop or fit mode, framing, background, and export format apply to each size.
Does it add a watermark?
No. Exported images contain your artwork and the background you choose. No Postly watermark is added.
