Unlock PDF (Remove Restrictions / Decrypt)

Remove editing/printing restrictions from PDFs you own or have rights to modify. If a file is encrypted and asks for a password to open, enter your open (user) or owner password to decrypt it. Upload one file to get an unlocked PDF, or multiple files to get a ZIP.

Rights-first
Use on PDFs you own or have permission to modify.
Supports passwords
Retry with open (user) or owner password.
Bulk friendly
Multiple files → ZIP + manifest.
Drag & drop PDF(s), or click to choose

One file → unlocked PDF. Multiple files → ZIP with unlocked PDFs and a manifest.

Open (user) password = the password you type to view a PDF. Owner password = the password that controls permissions. To decrypt an encrypted file, enter either your open or owner password when prompted.

Bulk downloads include a manifest.json listing which files were unlocked. If a file is encrypted, use Retry with password. One password is applied to all files in the bulk run.
