Setting up your Instagram account
- Please accept all permissions while connecting your account
- Note that logging out of your social platforms, changing your social media account password, or login details will affect your connections here, reconnect to ensure a good experience.
- Some account connections expire every 60 days, ensure to reconnect your account periodically for a good experience.
- Reconnecting your account does not affect already scheduled posts. They will still be published at the scheduled time.
Connecting Instagram account
- Only Instagram Business/Professional Accounts are allowed for now.
- Instagram connects via your Facebook Account.
- Must have a Facebook account
- Must have a Facebook page you have admin access
- Full admin access is required, Content admin and others are not allowed.
- Connect your Facebook account to the Instagram Account Center
- Link your Instagram account to a Facebook page.
Connect your Facebook account to your Instagram Business Account Center
- Go to your Instagram Settings.
- Go to Account Center
- Choose a Facebook Page from your Pages that you’d like to connect to.
- You can also do this from the Meta account center – https://business.facebook.com

Link your Instagram account to a Facebook page.
Make sure your Instagram Business account is linked to your Facebook Page.
Connecting Multiple Accounts
Instagram connects via Facebook only. You would have to go through the steps listed above and then also do the following:
- You would have to follow the same steps you did for connecting the first one.
- The Instagram account is not connected directly from the Instagram connection window of the Platform page on the Postly dashboard.
- You can connect all your Instagram accounts to the same Facebook account. You would need to link each Instagram account to a Facebook page though. If you do this then, once you connect the Facebook account on Postly, all your Instagram pages would show up.
- Or you connect them to different Facebook accounts. If you do this then you would need to sign in to the Facebook accounts and switch on the browser to be able to connect the Instagram accounts on Postly.
